The Journey of Pugilist Punks

In the beginning, it was a sense, a feeling, a detail—a story of growing up as an outsider, against the odds. It's a narrative familiar to thousands around the world, those lucky enough to find purpose, true passion, and a love for the creatives, the designers, the artists who shaped their worlds and inspired them to become who they are today.

For me, it all started with a journey—one that began in childhood and unfolded through travels that opened my eyes to new cultures and different ways of life. It was during these explorations that I became hooked on fashion, particularly the vibrant street culture of the early 1980s, where brands like Stussy and Adidas stood at the forefront.

And so, my immersion in the fashion world began. Influences in design came not only from fashion itself but also from other subcultures such as music, architecture, the punk era, and the rise of hip hop. But before all this, there was boxing.

Introduced to me by a cousin in Canada who worked and trained in a boxing gym, boxing became intertwined with my journey. While we all knew about legends like Muhammad Ali, I discovered a whole world of great fighters from times gone by. Boxing and music were the starting points of my pathway into fashion, though I couldn't have foreseen the outcome at that time.

Fast forward to the present day, and all the roads I've traveled have led me to a wonderful place—a place where street art, fashion, design, music, and the boxing culture converge. It's here, at the intersection of these passions, that Pugilist Punks begins.

Welcome to the journey.
